Who are you people anyway?!

Branded-Green was founded in 2009 by some closet tree-huggers at Promotional Partners Advertising, a fun, full-service advertising agency based in Harrisburg, PA. We got it in our heads to start greening the way we do things one step at a time and decided it was finally time to come out with it and share our journey with the world.

This blog is dedicated to sharing information about green efforts in business and tech and the companies and people who can help you make it happen.

Oh no, I think I’d like to be green, but I don’t see how I could afford it…

Many people get scared by the whole “Green Movement,” often feeling that what little they can do is not enough.  What information they are exposed to makes them feel that if they can’t run out and buy a smart car for weekend errands, cover their roof in solar panels,  walk to work every day,  and compost their own organic waste then they can’t do their part at all.  Others have been turned off because some more controversial issues have strong support on both sides, but the  “my way or the highway” mentality demonstrated time and time again makes them feel cornered.  We all know that attitude  is never good when you’re trying to build a support base!

Ok. I buy it. So where do you come in?

So here we are in the comfortable, green-leaning-local-supporting middle.  We stand firmly on the notion that it is the simple, DOABLE things that can make a huge impact on the world in a big way.  We want to share all the great ways you can better your business, community, and life in general while helping take care of the only planet we have to call Home.  And when big issues come up, we want to share the facts from both sides and let you decide for yourself!

We appreciate our friends and colleagues who strive to put the same good information in front of you while encouraging you to decide for yourself and act as you will.  Of course, we all have our fingers crossed that you, too will join us on the “Green Side.”  After all, the benefits stretch beyond that smile on your face: it’s good for you, your family, your business, and (of course) the World!!
